Life Changing Stories
I utilized positive reinforcement techniques to motivate and reward Myles for his progress. By acknowledging his efforts and achievements, I encouraged him to stay engaged and committed to the training process.
Throughout our class, Daniel’s basketball skills have taken impressive strides. His shooting accuracy and consistency have significantly improved, making him a more reliable scorer.
He’s honed his ball-handling skills and gained a deeper understanding of court dynamics, evolving into a well-rounded player. Daniel’s decision-making on the court has become sharper, and his unwavering dedication and hard work have been instrumental in his remarkable growth as a basketball player.
This is my first time coaching special needs students who might have Down syndrome, autism or more. At first. I got nervous too and worry if I can handle the big class.
What I found out is this class is much easier than other class I taught. I am thankful to understand and chat with special needs students and parents how they interact with their kids. Unexpectedly, The kids actually help me to manage the class and fight for each other. They taught me to be patient, sympathetic and able to enjoy every moment.
George is one of the young player I am currently training.
He is dedicated, focus and driven young man who is willing to improve everyday. Also, it’s essential that his family is super supportive to our work not only get better with his basketball skills, but also his never give up & positive attitude toward school and teammates.
Very proud of him.
Something changed in him since he’s joined. He learned the value of discipline, dedication and hard work.
He discovered the true meaning of teamwork, the beauty of collaboration, and the power of supporting each other. He developed strong bonds with their teammates and overcame challenges together on and off the field. The child’s parents witnessed their child’s growth with their own eyes and were filled with joy. Through victory and defeat, he learned resilience. He never gave up, even when the odds seemed against him.
